An epidemic is invading our teenage kids. The epidemic is the tidal wave of sexually transmitted diseases that, in some cases, have increased more than 500% in recent years.

ONE out of FOUR sexually active teens is living with an STD.

I wrote about this in my book: Your Kids at Risk. I’ve lived on the front lines of this epidemic for more than 20 years as a pediatrician specializing in adolescent medicine.

We must arm our kids with the knowledge so they can make the right choices. In the next few posts, I’m going to discuss a bit about how you can connect with your teens to help save them from the STD epidemic in this country. First, I want to know parents of teens: have you talked to your kids about sex?
