How to Talk to Your Kids 8-18 about Puberty and Sex

Our culture is screaming at our kids daily about their bodies, their sexuality, and gender issues. And the voices are LOUD!  Your kids need to know the medical facts about these issues and they want you to teach them.  At first you may feel awkward talking with your kids about these and that’s normal. But know this: your kids want to hear how you feel about their changing bodies, sexual activity, and gender. Kids tell me all the time that they wish their parents would talk to them about these.

When you don’t say anything, they think you feel that these are dirty or shameful topics. Don’t let them feel this way.  You want to make sure that they feel good about their bodies and have a respectful, healthy, and positive view of sex. Once you communicate this to your kids they will be emotionally, physically, and mentally much healthier. And contrary to what you might think - they will listen to you.

I’ve put together this course bundle because I know parents sometimes trip over talking to their kids about puberty or sex.

Here’s how it works.

I have two videos in the section on talking with your kids about puberty and eight in the section on talking with kids about sex.

The videos for puberty are divided by gender, and the videos about sex are divided by age groups.  AND I’ve also included optional videos of me talking directly to your kids. You will find helpful ebooks on both topics.

So put aside your anxiety and dive in.  Our culture is talking to our kids about these, and we need to join the conversation. Your voice is much stronger than you think!

Course Outline

As you go through the course, you’ll gain confidence and become comfortable tackling these topics with your kids. The mystery and awkwardness are removed. You will see that you are the strongest influence over your kids when it comes to shaping their view of their bodies and sex.
